Come and experience the magic of the mountainside amidst nearly 900 cacao trees. The Emerald Haven offers all of the amenities of modern living with the experience of being surrounded by nature. See nothing but the forest outside of every window, enjoy practicing yoga or lounging in the screened-in living room, prepare meals with full-sized appliances in our fully equipped kitchen, or choose to have our private chef prepare meals for you. The space is decorated with teak wood furnishings and has tall ceilings and windows that offer the experience of living in the jungle. Whether you’re seeking a quick weekend getaway or a 1-4 week long healing retreat, we can customize an experience that is tailored for you.

“Amber has set up such an incredibly lovely place to retreat and recharge. All of the details are arranged to provide the maximum comfort a guest could imagine, from the high quality soaps to the softest bath towels and the most comfortable bed I have ever experienced! The bed is enormous and the perfect level of firm and comfortable, with an abundant option of pillows, optional air conditioning and dehumidifier. The view of the sunrise in the morning is spectacular, and you will not forget waking up in paradise to the sound of geckos, cicadas, and birds. The setting is abundantly peaceful, refreshing, and removed from the sound of traffic or any reminders of busyness or stress. Everything you could need to rest deeply and comfortably is provided, including storage, refrigerator, stove/oven, and a comfortable shower that gets the perfect amount of warm. “If you are looking to disconnect from the city, this is the place. Beautiful accommodation, luxury finishes and very quiet. At night you hear lots of birds and animals from the forest, which makes the place very relaxed. The view is beautiful, lots of nature, even in the bathroom you have a view to the forest. What I liked the most is the terrace, which is\ very open but protected with mesh against animals and insects, one feels embraced by nature. Finally, the host Amber, is very nice person, attentive and helpful. I definitely plan on coming back here.”

“There is no greater peace than waking up surrounded by cacao trees. As soon as my eyes opened they were there to welcome me to the day. Every single window in the Emerald Haven offers a glimpse into the cacao forest. You feel completely immersed in the trees while being protected from the elements. The jungle noises are the perfect soundscape to fall asleep and wake up to. The bedroom is so cozy and luxurious. The Emerald Haven is a down-to-earth living fit for kings and queens. It’s the perfect environment to heal on a body, mind, and soul level. I felt so connected to nature while still having all of the amenities I needed to be comfortable. During my stay I released many toxic and addictive patterns within myself and found deeper self-compassion. There is nothing like it. “Literally the best place on earth!!! The experience we had there is almost too amazing to use language to describe! I carry the experience and transformation that occurred with me daily. It is truly a life altering and healing experience. On our last evening there was a Cacao closing ceremony that was so beautiful and cleansing. The Cacao for my husband and I was a very spiritual experience. The trees are beautiful and the sounds of the farm are so calming that I still recall it in my daily meditation process.
